Research Interests

I use the rich source of information contained in the atmosphere of stars, gained through the analysis of their spectra, to contribute to the advancement of:

• Chemical Evolution of the early Galaxy

• Formation, assembly history, of the Milky Way

• Spectroscopic models of stars

• Precise stellar characterization - Stellar parameters and abundances

• Chemical Evolution of the early Universe, via the analysis of extragalactic stars

• Characterization of Planet hosts and what can the stellar chemistry tell us about their planets
